Helping people realise their true potential in their health, career and personal development inspires me to achieve in my own dreams. So many of the health issues we all face such as heart disease, diabetes and stroke are so preventable."

Sasha ( Anna ) Brown
Bringing a distinct Eastern European flavor to the Studio, Anna “Sasha” Brown is a tall, tempting treat coming soon. The striking 28-year-old figure girl grew up in the Ukraine and now lives in Los Angeles.
The highly accomplished Sasha has plenty of acumen to go with her athleticism. Aside from being a personal trainer and performance nutrition specialist, she holds degree’s in computer sciences and business management and is seeking another in kinesiology.
On stage, Sasha placed first in her class at the Junior California Bodybuilding & Figure Championship and won the overall title at the Max Muscle Naturals last March in Anaheim. She also placed tenth in her class at the very competitive Emerald Cup earlier this year.
Away from the spotlights, the statuesque 5-foot-6, 133-pound Sasha is not to be trifled with. Behind the scenes, she’s a martial arts expert in Ju-Jitsu and a boot camp teacher.
Monica Brant
Monica Brant
Name: Monica Brant
Born: October 26th, 1970
Height: 5'5
Off Season Weight: 135 lbs
Competition Weight: 127 lbs
Monica is originally from Texas. She was born in Ft.Hood and raised on a 20 acre ranch in a small town outside of San Antonio called Castroville. She began riding and showing horses at the age of 5. Her mother had a professional horse training business where Monica started learning how to help her around the stables.
By the time she was 14, Monica was giving riding lessons and training horses on her own with occasional advice from her mother. Along with volleyball and track in high school, she competed in many events: western pleasure, barrels and pole bending, english pleasure, dressage, and her personal favorite-hunter/jumper.
After graduation, Monica’s love of horses took her to a fine arts college in Fulton, MO, where she studied basics and equestrian science for her first year. Unable to return for further studies in Missouri, she took classes at San Antonio College (TX) and gave riding lessons at nearby stables. She also did promotional work for Budweiser, waitressed, and competed in bikini contests!
In 1991, Monica started lifting weights with a friend and saw a photo of Marla Duncan winning a national competition. Marla’s beauty and physique impressed Monica enough that she wanted to try what Marla was doing - Fitness Competitions.
Up until 1995, Monica competed for fun, not as a money making career. In 1994, Monica was honored with a Muscle & Fitness cover. This experience helped Monica realize that she had the potential to earn some actual money in the fitness industry. In April of 1995, Monica relocated to the Los Angeles area. Once in California, Monica dove into her career and competed in the IFBB organization two to three times per year.
After four tries, in 1998, Monica won her first Fitness Olympia and made 45 on covers of magazines, books, and calendars worldwide.
Commenting on her career as a fitness competitor Monica says, “I have had a wonderful time traveling across the country and internationally, and have met some really incredible people everywhere. I feel very blessed and fortunate to be able to do what I enjoy: staying fit, encouraging others, and teaching what I have learned.”

Kiana Tom
Originally born in Hawaii, Kiana’s family moved to Southern California. As a youngster, she was constantly teased by her classmates for being different. Tom wanted to be just like her friends (blonde haired and blue-eyed). Eventually, she outgrew her phase and learned to like the idea of not being like everyone else.
Since then, Tom has appeared in numerous gigs on TV, as well as magazines. She is probably most recognized for her 6 year stint on the popular ESPN television show Body Shaping. Tom has also been seen in the movies Universal Soldier and Cyber Bandits and in “The Drew Carey Show” television series.
Currently, Tom is doing two shows on ESPN2 called Kiana’s Flex Appeal and Kiana’s Too Fit 2 Quit.
Kiana is part Hawaiian, Chinese and Irish. Her name means “calm water” in Hawaiian.
Ericca Kern
Ericca Kern
As the middle of three children, Ericca was often playfully 'tormented' by her siblings and was nicknamed "Bones" in obvious reference to her very thin framework. Though sleight of size in her childhood, Ericca always maintained an eager athleticism. However, due to her family's frequent moves, she was not able to play organized sports until finally settling in Hermantown Minnesota in 1975.
At 18 years of age, what she also found was an eating disorder, albeit minor, it was nontheless quite unhealthy. Even though Ericca was rather thin (110-125 lbs) she convinced herself she was fat and would literally starve herself for days and, all the while, run 10 miles per day. She would then binge on ice cream and pizza and then run twice that day. Food was controlling her life.
All that changed in 1985 when she found the tiny weight room at the University. Suddenly, she realized it was O.K. to eat and gained 35 pounds of mostly muscle in six months. It was at this time that she picked up her first bodybuilding magazine and was bitten by the bodybuilding bug.. Bodybuilding was put on hold temporarily in 1987 as Ericca married for the first time, graduated from UMD and gave birth to her daughter Jessica in 1988. After a divorce in 1992, Ericca met her current husband and begain training for her first bodybuilding show that she won in grand fashion.
After a string of bodybuilding competition successes locally, in Minnesota, and at the national level Ericca and family moved to Irvine, California in January of 1995. And most recently, at the 1995 North American Championships, Ericca won the overall title and earned her Pro card.
